Arguably considered the best NFL cornerback in the league at his time, Samuel had a formidable NFL career winning 2 Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and being chosen as a 4 Time Pro Bowler.

Played for 5 years with the New England Patriots, 4 years with the Philadelphia Eagles, and 2 years with the Atlanta Falcons.

In his illustrious 11 year NFL career, Samuel amassed 51 INTerceptions, 6 Defensive TDs, 7 forced fumbles, 400+ tackles. As a premier corner in the league, Samuel registered 162 Pass Deflections!!! Samuel had 5 seasons with 5 or more interceptions, summiting in 2006 with double digit picks with 10. As a matter of fact, every season that Samuel has been in the league, he has a had an interception.

Selected to the UCF College Hall of FAME

A versatile athlete with good instincts, Samuel is one the best cover cornerbacks UCF has ever known... named to All-MAC first team his senior season Samuel was taken in the 4th round by the New England Patriots in the 2003 draft.

2002: Samuel played in every game his senior season earning All-MAC First Team honors... racking up 48 tackles, 42 of them unassisted, as he lead a very stingy UCF secondary... he also accumulated 4 interceptions on the year, two of them coming against Western Michigan while the others came against Toledo and Marshall... he ranked 17th in the nation with 15 pass break ups while he also forced one fumble... Samuel ranked 30th in the nation in punt returns, handling 19 punts for 233 yards... he averaged 12.3 yards per attempt... his longest return of the year was for 30 yards.

2001: Started in all 11 games and earned a spot on the Football News\' All-Independent Team... he racked up 41 total tackles, 31 of them unassisted... he also broke up 15 pass plays and recovered two fumbles... he had two interceptions on the season, one against Utah state and Louisiana-Lafayette, returning them for a total of 18 yards... on special teams, Samuel returned punts 19 times for 165 yards on the season... his longest return was for 26 yards against Akron... he also blocked a field goal in the game against Utah State... Samuel was awarded the \"Big Stick\" for the biggest hit against Louisiana-Monroe... he had at least one pass break up in eight games and had two break ups in five games... he had a season-high eight tackles against Syracuse.

2000: Samuel made his presence known all over the field in scrimmage and special teams situations... he finished with 26 tackles, 23 of which were solo, including a season-high six in the opener against Georgia Tech... he registered at least one tackle in 10 of 11 games and tallied six pass break ups and two interceptions... his interceptions came against Akron and Eastern Kentucky... he was given the team\'s \"Big Stick\" award for the biggest hit in the game against Alabama... on special teams he handled all the punt return chores and took over the kick return duties late in the year... he ranked 34th in the nation in the punt returns with an average of 11 yards per return on 25 returns for 275 yards... he returned three punts for 81 yards against Northwestern State, including a long of 28... he returned 10 kicks for 168 yards, including five kicks for 102 yards against Alabama... he contributed on special teams by blocking a pair of field goals.

1999: Samuel made an immediate impact as a true freshman... he spent the year at free safety where he backed up Ricot Joseph... he replaced Joseph in the starting lineup against Eastern Illinois... he finished the year with 12 tackles, four pass break ups and one forced fumble... seven of his 12 tackles came in the Eastern Illinois game... he followed that performance up with three tackles against Nicholls State a week later.
