Mainland extended their current win streak to four games and improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in District 6A-13 after blanking Deltona 19-0 to celebrate victory during their Homecoming Week.

The Buccaneers overcame four turnovers and were led by quarterback Taron Keith's 122 rushing yards on only six carries including a 44 yard scoring run.

Running back D’Andre McMillian also added a 19 yard touchdown run with 00:56 seconds left in the game to put the game out of reach.

Deltona started the season 2-0, but suffered their third straight defeat. The Wolves' defense put up a valiant effort, but they could never get on track offensively.
