Bryson Lucero connected with Michael Redding for a 58 yard touchdown and tossed a 49 yard touchdown to Josh Delgado to lead IMG Academy to a 34-7 victory over reigning Class 6A State Champion Miami Northwestern.
Trey Sanders added a 66 yard punt return for a score and Cam Gillis nailed 35 and 33 yard field goals at the Ascenders took a 27-7 lead into the locker room at the halftime.
Chandler McGruder scored on an eight yard rushing touchdown for the second half's only points in a game that was played with a running clock in the third and fourth quarters.
