We have a great new site feature for our valued members, fans, and visitors of Florida Gridiron Preps.

Since we started about 10 years ago, we've had aims of building a platform which would become the living archive of high school football in The Sunshine State.

To date, We have over 25,000 game records of games played in the Sunshine State since 1968.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could come to one site, and see game articles from games around the complete state of Florida, not just your local area.... kinda like a "Google of the Gridiron". A platform that would find the articles written by the local area journalists and give these game accounts not only local exposure but statewide exposure.

This collection began as a solution to a conundrum that we as FLORIDA BOYS used to encounter playing football on the Florida's Gridiron in the 1990's. You see after each game, there were two stories that were usually written after: one from the local journalist covering the local team, and another journalist retelling the game story for the traveling visiting team. In the 1990's, this process could be difficult without the neural network of information that we have access today.

With the advent of the internet, RSS feeds, social media, and new video capabilities with the proliferation of consumer smartphones, this process of attaining information for a high school football game has become much accessible and more readily available.

Here we are today. It's Ready.

After each game has become final, we peruse the internet for articles and game details written about this game. We look for game articles written by media, photos, and game highlights. We curate this list to provide you the most accurate accounts of data about each game.

We have built this to section for primarily three reasons:
1) To provide a place where players, teams, family, friends, and the like can come and see articles about high school football games in any part of Florida
2) To provide media more exposure of the great work they provide to their local media area, and to provide exposure of their works to a wider net audience thorough the state and nation
3) To provide a living archive of game related data of games played in the Sunshine State
