USA Today announced their annual ALL-USA HS Team for the 2017 Season.
9 Players from the Sunshine State were named to either the 1st or 2nd ALL-USA Teams, with many coming from traditional powerhouses, IMG Academy (3), Plantation American Heritage (2), and St. Thomas Aquinas (1)
Miami commit Nesta "Jade" Silvera, who led Plantation American Heritage to back-to-back Class 5A State Titles and Undefeated seasons was an overwhelming poll favorite with 49% of the vote between the 5 defensive finalists for Player of the Year.
Akeem Dent, a highly coveted top-flight corner at Palm Beach Central, was the sole Junior to be picked, as a 1st Team ALL-USA Corner.
