Many Florida Boys will take center stage in Monday's 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson. 18 players from the State of Florida are listed on these two teams...two teams that will have played each other in 3 of the four last College Football National Championship games.

The nation's best receiver, Biletnikoff winner WR Jerry Jeudy from Deerfield Beach Bucks will lead Alabama when the Crimson Tide have the rock. The sophomore South Florida native has an eye popping 63 catches, 1,176 yards, 13 TD. He had a strong outing vs. Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff Semifinal with 4 catches, 73 yards and a TD.

True freshman starting cornerback Patrick Surtain II from Plantation American Heritage will put to the test on defense vs. an explosive Clemson offense. Quite Impressive to go straight from Back-To-Back State Titles to the National Championship game as a true freshman starting on of the nation's ELITE defenses. Expect Clemson to go after the true freshman as Oklahoma did with CeeDee Lamb.

Junior DB Saivion Smith out of Saint Pete Lakewood before transferring to IMG Academy has been having a nice season for the Crimson Tide. Smith has 58 tackles, 3 INT, and an PICK SIX versus Arkansas State in the 2nd game of the year. Saivion had a monster game vs Georgia in the SEC Championship game, recording 11 tackles, 8 of which were solo.
