Plantation American Heritage REPEATS as 5A State Champs

Plantation American Heritage made history Friday, becoming Broward county's only school to win back-to-back state championships undefeated.

Cannon Cam Smith proved big in the big game, accounting for two TD on the ground and Two in the air.

Anthony Schwartz, the fastest high school player in the country by clocking a 10.15 100m, flashed for two touchdowns, the first midway through the quarter. Later in the qtr., Flash took a reverse and went untouched ___ yards to the house.

Head Coach Pat Surtain is one of a select few coaches to experience the thrill of coaching their son in a State Championship. Surtain now has won back to back championships, with Surtain II being a pillar of the Patriots vaunted defense.
