Madison County senior Teryon Henderson rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cowboys to their third state championship with a 35-20 victory over the Blountstown Tigers in the Class 1A State Championship.
Offensively, Henderson led the way and Madison County senior quarterback Trey Adams rushed for a score and tossed a 27 yard touchdown to Derrick Staten.
On defense, Madison County surrendered 17 first half points, but stiffened up in the second half, holding Blountstown to just a field goal.
