Players who hail from the state of Florida provide numerous contributions nationwide to many college football programs. Each week, we highlight what our FLORIDA BOYS are doing in college football action from around the country in our weekly series of FLORIDA BOYS SHINING.

vs. Coastal Carolina:
The former Miami Northwestern star RB led his Appalachian State Mountaineers to a momentous 30-27 upset over #14 ranked Coastal Carolina. Noel led all rushers in the game with 82 yards on 16 carries.
vs. Appalachian State University:
Florida's career receiving yards leader Jaivon Heiligh continues to add another 100 yard receiving games to his resume, his second over 100-yard performance this year. The former Venice HS star Heiligh had 6 catches for 103 yards in a shocking 30-27 loss for his undefeated #14 ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Heiligh currently has 35 receptions for 676 yards, and 4TDs.
vs. North Carolina State University:
Knighton is the main feature back in the Hurricanes offense with Cam Harris out with a season-ending leg injury. The Deerfield Beach High product delivered in his new role, on both the ground and catching passes. Knighton had 21 carries for 83 yards, another 83 yards on 6 receptions, and a nice wide-open touchdown reception as his Hurricanes got one of the most needed wins this season, a 31-30 victory over North Carolina State, their first ACC opponent The U has beaten in the 2021 season.
vs. Army:
Perry with another big performance for Demon Deacons as they whipped Army in a 70-56 shootout. The Park Vista product has registered his 3rd 100-yard game of the season with 6 receptions for 146 yards a TD. Perry now has 29 recptions for 600 yards an 8 TD in 5 games. PERRY HAS CAUGHT A TD EVERY GAME.

vs. Kansas University:
Former Aquinas star Nik Bonitto registered 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1.5 Tackles for loss in a 35-23 Sooners victory over Kansas.
vs. Clemson University:
Former Lakeland HS star Damarri Mathis shined on a big ACC stage as his #23 ranked Pitt Panthers upended a once strong Clemson powerhouse. Mathis had an Interception, 3 solo tackles and a Pass Deflection. His Panthers are now 6-1, and an undefeated 3-0 in league play.
Damarri Mathis in coverage vs. Clemson, per PFF: 9 targets, 3 receptions allowed. Mathis, who chipped in 3 tackles, admitted he probably could have had more than the one INT. But a good showing from the super senior.

vs. Purdue University:
Mellusi and his Badgers came up big, knocking off #25 ranked Purdue 30-13. The former Naples star Mellusi led all rushers with 27 carries for 149 yards and a TD. Mellusi leads his Badgers wth 139 carries for 692 yards and 4 TDs this season.

vs. Purdue University:
Former Flanagan star Faion Hicks had 4 tackles (3 solo) in his Badgers' 30-13 upset of #25 ranked Purdue.
